A man has suffered a serious facial injury following an assault in Strabane yesterday.
Police are appealing for information following the incident which took place on Castle Street in the Co Tyrone town at around 2.10pm on Wednesday, December 18.
It is understood that several people may have witnessed the assault and police are asking anyone who did to contact them as soon as possible.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses of an assault which occurred on Castle Street, Strabane at approximately 14:10 hours on Wednesday 18th of December 2024.
"As a result of this incident a male has suffered a serious facial injury. We have been made aware that several people may have witnessed the assault and we are keen to hear from those individuals.
"If anyone has information can they contact Police on 101 quoting serial number 1584 of 18/12/24."
