A man was shot Wednesday night while driving on Interstate 95 near Broward Boulevard, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The man, who was not identified, was driving northbound, just south of Broward Boulevard, about 11:35 p.m. when he was shot, according to a Sheriff’s Office media release. Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded, and paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital with “injuries listed as life threatening.”
The release did not identify a suspect or a motive for the shooting.
Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit are investigating, the Sheriff’s Office said.
