Man dies in motorcycle crash south of Caldwell

The following is a news release from Idaho State Police.

Idaho State Police are investigating a collision which occurred on Sunday at approximately 3:42 p.m. at the intersection of Lone Star Road and South Indiana Avenue just south of Caldwell.

A 2015 Honda ST1300 Motorcycle driven by a 60-year-old male from Nampa was traveling west on Lone Star when it left the right shoulder of the roadway and crashed.

The male succumbed to his injuries at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.

The roadway was blocked for approximately three hours while emergency responders worked to clear the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
