Detectives from the PSNI's Public Protection Branch have charged a man to court following a "serious domestic assault".
It is reported that the incident happened in Magheralin on Friday, March 14, 2025. In a brief police statement on Sunday, March 16, a spokesperson confirmed the charges.
"The man, aged 29, has been charged with attempted murder and domestic abuse," they added.
"He is due to appear before Lisburn Magistrates' Court on Monday, 17th March.
"As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service."
