A man and a woman were ordered to stay in their living room while masked men ransacked their home in East Belfast.
The incident took place at around 7.30pm in the Finchley Vale area on Wednesday, March 5, when it was reported that four men wearing balaclavas entered a property and ordered the male and female occupants into a room while they ransacked the premises.
The masked men then left the property and it is not believed that anything was taken.

While nobody was injured during the ordeal, police say the woman was left badly shaken.
Detective Sergeant Faulkner said: “It was reported that at around 7.30pm, four men, wearing balaclavas, gloves and dark coloured clothing, entered a house in the Finchley Vale area, and ordered the male and female occupants to go into the living room and stay there, before ransacking the upstairs of the property.
“The men then left the house, and it is not believed at this stage that anything was taken.
“Whilst the occupants were not physically hurt during the incident, the woman was left very shaken by what had happened.
“An investigation is underway, and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or saw what happened, to get in touch.
“We would also appeal to anyone who might have captured any relevant dash cam footage to contact us.
