A 22-year-old man has been arrested by detectives on suspicion of online child sex offences. PSNI Detectives in Mid Ulster CID say detained man for questioning on the alleged offences.
The suspect was detained at an address in the Kilrea/Coleraine area earlier today, January 10 and is to be be questioned on suspicion of a number of offences.
They include sexual communication with a child, inciting a child under 16 to engage in sexual activity, possession of indecent images of a child and blackmail.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "The alleged offences relate to two separate child victims.
"The arrested man remains in custody this evening."
