Motorists are being advised to expect long delays on the M2 this afternoon following a multi-vehicle collision.
Traffic cameras show an obstruction blocking one lane of traffic, as motorists appear to be diverted around it with police cones.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Road users are advised of congestion on the M2 Southbound at its Fortwilliam junction due to a road traffic collision involving a number of vehicles.
"The area is passable with care, and one lane remains open. Please exercise caution as you approach. "
It is not yet known if any serious injuries have occurred.
