Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious collision in Co Tyrone this evening.

The two-vehicle collision happened on the Old Loughry Road in Cookstown. Road users have been asked to avoid the area, and diversions are in place.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Road users are asked to avoid the Old Loughry Road area of Cookstown as police and colleagues from the emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious two vehicle road traffic collision.

"There are diversions in place. Please seek an alternative route for your journey."
