Live: Emergency services at scene of sudden death at Cookstown workplace

The emergency services are currently at the scene of a sudden death of a man at an industrial premises in Cookstown.

Emergency services were tasked to the scene at Trade Mouldings business premises on the Sandholes Road area, of the Co Tyrone town on Wednesday, November 13.

Police have said that the Health and Safety Executive Northern Ireland has been informed of the incident.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are currently at the scene of a sudden death of a man in the Sandholes Road area of Cookstown.

"The Health and Safety Executive NI have been informed."

Trade Mouldings LTD statement following sudden death

The Directors of Trade Mouldings LTD said in a statement: "It’s with great sadness that we have to report there has been a fatal accident involving one of our employees in our factory this morning.

"Our condolences are with his immediate family at this time.

"The incident is currently under investigation by the police and HSE.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and work colleagues at this difficult time."
