LIVE as Saintfield Road closed following two-vehicle collision

A busy Co Down road has been closed this afternoon following a two-vehicle collision.

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a collision on the Saintfield Road, Lisburn..

The road has been closed in the direction fo Ballynahinch and drivers have been asked to seek an alternative route for their journey.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Road users are advised the Saintfield Road, Lisburn is currently closed in the direction of Ballynahinch following a two vehicle road traffic collision. Please seek an alternate route for your journey."
