Larne incident being treated as 'arson with intent to endanger life' as three cars torched

Three cars were torched and nearby properties were damaged in an arson attack in a Co Antrim town.

Police received a report at around 7.10am on Saturday morning, November 30, of three cars on fire in the Seacourt Road area of Larne, which had spread causing damage to nearby properties.

It is believed that an accelerant had been poured on to all three vehicles which were then set alight, police added.

The incident is being treated by police as arson with intent to endanger life.

A spokesperson for the PSNI added: "Detectives are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious in the area or to anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage that could assist with the investigation to get in touch on 101 quoting reference number 381 30/11/24.

"Alternatively, you can submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/
