Viewers of I'm A Celebrity were left deeply moved by Danny Jones' poignant reunion with his family.
In the episode aired on Friday (December 6), the remaining contestants were overjoyed as their loved ones made surprise visits to the camp.
The atmosphere became particularly charged with emotion when Danny's wife Georgia and son Cooper appeared, leaving the McFly star reluctant to release them from his embrace.
Cooper eagerly anticipated meeting his father, saying: "I'm really excited to see my dad!" Georgia chimed in with pride: "He's been doing amazing, he said he wanted to make you proud didn't he, and show you how to be brave. We think he's achieved that."
Upon spotting his family, Danny was visibly overwhelmed. He knelt down for a heartfelt hug with Cooper and Georgia, struggling to hold back his tears, reports the Express.
During the embrace, he noticed Cooper's reaction and asked: "Are you crying happy tears as well?"
Sitting down with them, an astonished Danny exclaimed: "That was such a shock! Look at me! " He continued with deep emotion: "That was the best surprise I think I've ever had in my life, just an amazing feeling."
Cooper playfully remarked to his dad: "Luckily you haven't been voted out yet!" leading Danny to inquire, "Have you been telling everyone at school to vote for me?" to which Cooper gave an affirmative nod.
Danny seized the moment to celebrate Georgia's birthday, thrilled to share part of her day together in the jungle.
Georgia said to Danny whilst looking at Cooper: "He's doing a smashing job isn't he, sweetheart? We're very proud. We've been watching non-stop haven't we?"
Speaking about standout moments, Georgia told him: "You as a pencil!" With Cooper in his arms, he told her and Georgia: "Honestly this place is an amazing place, even though it's been challenging. It just makes you realise how much you love people and you put stuff into perspective."
As they bid each other farewell, Cooper clung tightly to his dad, saying: "I don't wanna let go! " The emotional reunion left viewers at home feeling tearful, and they quickly took to social media to share their reactions. One viewer posted on X, formerly Twitter: "Knew it would get me, Danny seeing Cooper #ImACeleb."
Another wrote: "I still don't get the point of the family visits when they're all out and will see them in three days but did i cry when danny saw his son? ? ? yes i did #ImACeleb." An emotional fan commented: "You're crying not me #ImACeleb."
