The confusion set in just after campmate Tulisa was also missing from the ITV2 show, which is hosted by Joel Dommett. Fans are accustomed to seeing Ant and Dec pop up on the show shortly after they finish presenting the main ITV1 programme, where they typically discuss the day's events and the latest evictee from the jungle.
However, on Tuesday, there was no word from Joel about their absence, and the duo did not make an appearance. This unexpected turn of events occurred right after Dec announced that the vote had been closed and would not reopen, leaving viewers uncertain if Wednesday's episode would feature an elimination. The lack of clarity led fans to speculate that something unusual was happening behind the scenes.
Adding to the mystery, Dec hinted at "a massive surprise" coming up on Wednesday night, yet he and Ant were nowhere to be seen on Unpacked afterwards. Puzzled fans took to social media to express their need for answers, with one stating: "I need answers," while another queried: "No Ant and Dec tonight, and no Tulisa... what's going on?"
