An on-site medic had to intervene when Coleen Rooney encountered trouble during an 'I'm A Celebrity' challenge.
The popular ITV show returned to our screens on Tuesday (December 3), hosted by the ever-entertaining duo Ant and Dec, who were ready to update viewers on the current celebrities in the Australian jungle.
In the most recent episode, the stars were competing for a spot in Cyclone, which promised immunity from the forthcoming two eliminations for the victor.
Danny Jones, GK Barry, Richard Coles, and Coleen Rooney were the first to take on the Arcade of Agony. The trial involved arcade-style grabbing machines filled with balls that each held a number of tickets when captured.
These tickets needed to be placed into a collection box, reports the Express. To operate the claw machine, the celebrities had to face the unenviable task of fishing out coins from a box brimming with fish offal. They had a total of ten minutes to accumulate as many tickets as possible.
Only the two celebs with the highest ticket count at the end of the Trial could proceed to the last stage, drawing them nearer to securing the much-coveted Cyclone ticket.
True to the nature of a Bushtucker Trial, they weren't alonenumerous creepy crawlies accompanied them in their grabbing booths. Additionally, each star had to find a hidden star among the balls, which represented one meal for camp.
However, the trial ended on a scary note for Coleen when she realised at the conclusion: "I've got one in my ear! ".
Ant and Dec promptly called for the medic to carefully extract the unwelcome guest with a syringe. As they watched on, Ant couldn't contain his shock, exclaiming: "Oh my god! It just jumped out! ".
Viewers were cringing behind their screens as they witnessed Coleen's harrowing experience. On the X platform, one viewer commented, "That bug in Coleen's ear! ."
Another voiced their discomfort, saying, "That was horrible! Poor Coleen." A third expressed their disgust succinctly: "The way it just crawled out of her ear I'm sick!"
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! tonight at 9pm on ITV1, STV and ITVX
