Fans on Twitter, now X, were quick to react about Maura's age, showering her with compliments on her youthful appearance with some viewers thinking she was in her early 20s.

One fan tweeted: "Would never have thought Maura was 34. She looks much younger. #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity", someone else said: "WHAT DO YOU MEAN MAURA IS 34? ! Entering the jungle last week as a late arrival alongside Reverend Richard Coles, Maura has now settled in with the rest of the celebrity gang which includes Loose Women's Jane Moore, Coleen Rooney, Coronation Street's Alan Halsall, professional dancer Oti Mabuse, radio presenter Dean McCullough, N-Dubz's Tulisa Contostavlos, boxing icon Barry McGuigan, McFly star Danny Jones, radio personality Melvin Odoom and TikTok famous GK Barry.

Maura, who shot to stardom on the fifth series of Love Island in 2019, spoke to The Mirror before heading into the jungle, where she reflected: "It's been five years [since Love Island] and I think I've matured, but I still have a potty mouth."

She continued: "I'm still the same kind of girl but I'm not going to go in and annihilate anyone. However, if someone gets on my nerves, I'm not really one to hold it in."

She added: "I do speak my mind. If someone patronises me, I get really irritated. Like, that's one thing that really drives me mad."

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs every night at 9pm on ITV1, STV and ITV X.
