Is AT&T experiencing an outage?

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — If you’re an AT&T customer, you may have experienced issues with your phone service Thursday morning.

According to Downdetector, more than 30,000 users reported an outage around 4:30 a.m. Thursday.

Users reported that they were having issues with their cell phones having no signal. Several users said they were not able to make or receive calls but texting appeared to be working.

Some users said they didn’t have service at 2 a.m. Another user said service was down in the Tampa area but wifi was working fine.

News Channel 8 has reached out to AT&T to learn more about the outage.
