Another user said they were unable to continue watching a movie with a friend because both calling and streaming features were not working, describing the stream as appearing only as a blank or gray screen.
Some users observed that connections occasionally restored without warning, though not for everyone. One report indicated that certain desktop users were able to reconnect to voice chat, while those on mobile devices continued to experience issues.
The outage appears to have primarily affected voice-related features, though some users also noted problems with streaming and overall connectivity within the app. Text-based messaging was less frequently mentioned in reports, suggesting the disruption may have been more limited to Discord’s real-time communication systems.
