Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak after a four-year-old's Christmas money was stolen from a toy store.

Dougie Wilson had been visiting Smyth's Toys in Anglia Retail Park with his mother to spend his £60 on Tuesday, December 27 when he dropped the cash and it was taken from him.

It's believed the £60 was picked up by an unknown man, who left the store without handing it in. 

Suffolk Constabulary posted their CCTV appeal and shared images of a man wearing a dark clothes they would like to speak to in connection with the alleged theft.

Dougie had received the money over the Christmas period and was planning to spend it on a new toy at the store.

Police have now released an image of a man they want to speak to as part of their investigation. 

In the image shared by police, the man in question is wearing a dark hat, a black jacket and black shoes and lightly-coloured trousers.

A nyone with any information is advised to contact Suffolk Constabulary, quoting crime reference number 37/81201/22.
