In photos: Family and friends enjoy the craic at Belfast's Christmas Market

Christmas Day is less than one week away and people across Northern Ireland are getting into the festive spirit.

Whether you are heading out to meet family and friends, have a Christmas party to attend or are hitting the shops for some gifts, we hope everyone is making the most of their weekend.

Our photographer Justin Kernoghan popped down to the Belfast Christmas Market on Tuesday evening to capture crowds enjoying good food and good drinks as they look forward to the big day next week.

Family and friends were seen getting in the spirit in the Lavery's bar tent before the market closes up in a few days time.
