Every week I’m interviewing exciting people from Idaho and around the world!
Today I’m speaking with Roger Evans, the director of the upcoming fundraiser “Roger’s Revue: Epic Broadway!” The concert’s proceeds will be used to fund scholarships for students to attend Idaho Falls Youth Arts Centre summer camps and other programs.
“Roger’s Revue” will feature a little over 20 songs with music from shows such as “Camelot,” “Dear Evan Hansen,” “Hamilton,” “Chicago,” “Hello, Dolly!” and “The Bridges of Madison County.”
I sat down with Roger and asked him these questions:
How long have you been in theater and what got you interested in it? What is Roger’s Revue and how long has it been around? How do you think acting, singing and dancing is beneficial for kids? Do you have a favorite production that you’ve been a part of? What are some other productions the Idaho Falls Youth Arts Centre has coming up this year? Why should people come and watch Roger’s Revnue this week? Can you share a piece of advice for anyone who wants to perform but is a little shy?Watch my entire interview with Roger in the video player above.
