The latest episode of I'm A Celebrity saw Dean McCullough yelling out and apologising to fellow campmate Coleen Rooney.

BBC Radio 1 presenter Dean, 32 from Newtownabbey, and TV star Coleen, aged 38, took on the trial named Absolute Carnage together in Sunday night's episode of the ITV programme.

This will be Dean's fifth trial of the series, while it marks the first for Coleen.

The task saw the duo collaborating to win gold stars for the camp with Coleen unscrewing stars from the back of a truck with tools that the Dean finds, including some in the cab.

Dean – who has previously struggled to win stars – was seen shouting from the front of the vehicle as he got doused in slime and offal. Meanwhile, Coleen was attempting to unfasten stars fixed to a wall at the rear while lying down amidst bugs and rodents.

Dean – who has attracted attention over his performances in past trials – starts to say before letting out a scream as more gunk is poured over him: "Col, sorry, I'm sorry. I'm going as quick .."

Moments later, host Dec Donnelly asks: "Any more tools, Dean?" After the radio host replies that there aren't any more tools, Ant McPartlin assures him during the trial: "There's definitely tools in the front [of the vehicle]". Dean responds: "Oh, I've got one. No, no, no, wait."

He's then heard screaming again.

The pair managed to secure nine out of 14 available stars for the camp.
