Some fans of I'm A Celebrity have speculated that ITV is 'preparing' to replace one of the show's hosts ahead of next year.
The latest series of the reality show concluded on Sunday (December 8) with a live final where a new King of the Jungle was crowned. McFly's Danny Jones won the public vote, with Coleen Rooney coming in second and Reverend Richard Coles finishing third.
After Ant and Dec had interviewed each finalist, viewers switched over to the companion show I'm A Celeb Unpacked for more reactions. However, many were distracted when the presenters participated in a ceremonial moment and some former campmates appeared to vanish from their screens. After all three finalists had been interviewed, two of the three Unpacked hosts ventured into the camp themselves.
Throughout the series, the companion show has been hosted by former contestant Joel Dommett, previous series winner Sam Thompson and radio presenter Kemi Rodgers. As Sam and Kemi extinguished the campfire to officially end the series, viewers at home made an insightful prediction.
They believe that Kemi, being the only one of the Unpacked team who has not been a contestant on the main show, could be set to enter the jungle next year. If she does, they think she could be replaced by one of this year's most popular campmates, Strictly's Oti Mabuse, reports the Express.
One social media user speculated: "I wonder if Kemi Rodgers going into the I'm A Celeb camp is ITV preparing her to be a campmate next year, and they'll replace her on Unpacked with Oti Mabuse?"
Other fans were emotional about the fire being extinguished. One commented: "Putting the fire out feels a bit too emotional."
Another chimed in: "Didn't want it to end was such a good series." However, some viewers were more preoccupied with the apparent disappearance of certain campmates from their screens.
It was noticeable that Tulisa was the only celebrity who did not return for the reunion of all campmates for the final show. Viewers felt that at various points, third-placed Richard and runner-up Coleen seemed to vanish from the set.
One worried fan queried: "Where did Coleen Rooney disappear to at the end of #Unpacked" while another asked: "Where was Coleen in the Unpacked episode? ". And one viewer posed a similar question, asking: "Where's Richard gone? ".
Some theorised that they must have been reunited off screen with family and friends as they had only just left the jungle and were led straight to the studio.
