Coleen Rooney was moved to tears during an emotional jungle reunion, telling her sons "I've missed you so much" in a heartfelt moment.

The I'm A Celeb star and wife of football legend Wayne Rooney thought she was only getting to see only her mum Colette when she came out of the Bush Telegraph. Coleen, 38, burst into tears and ran to give her a huge hug as she said: “I don’t want you to leave me now!”, reports the Mirror.

But the best was yet to come. As they sat down to catch up, she heard a “boo!” and turning over her shoulder her youngest kids Kit and Cass ran into camp to give their mum a hug. And Kit had one remark when he first hugged his mum, as he said: “She stinks!” and he also had some special news to tell her.

Referring to a football match, he shared: “I won City!” and she replied: “Brilliant, did you score?” An emotional Kit nodded, and a tearful Coleen reassured him: “I’m crying because I’m happy, because I’ve missed you so much!”

Coleen showed her family around the campsite, their peek into jungle life including her bed, the dunny, and even Cass trying on her jungle hat.

But it was then time for them to leave again as Coleen carried on her quest to be queen of the jungle. Giving them an emotional hug goodbye she told the boys it was only a couple more days and then it would be the countdown to Christmas.

Two of Coleen's lads, Kit, aged eight, and Cass, six, have jetted off to Australia to be with her, while her other children Kai, 15, and Klay, 11, remained back in the UK.

Explaining the decision just before the series started, Coleen told the Mirror : "They all had the option but the two older ones decided that they would stay at home to continue with school and football. I think I said when you come you’ll have to bring your work with you, and they would be missing some football tournaments, so they quickly changed their minds!

"And also the fact that they don’t know when they get to see me. That was another big thing, is if I did last and stayed in close to the end, there’s not going to be any time spent with me so I explained that.

"Obviously, I would have liked them all to come out but it makes sense in a way and they both chose a wise decision not to miss out on anything back home and as soon as the show’s over, I’m back straight away. So, it’s one of those things, I put it in their hands, they decided and I agree with it really. I think it was missing the football that really did it for them, they didn’t want to miss any tournaments."
