Hundreds of people descended on the Stormont estate today in order to take part in the Red Dress Fun Run and raise money for a very important charity.
The 5K fun run around the grounds of Stormont was organised by Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke and was aimed at raising money to support treatment for heart illnesses and spread awareness about the importance of maintaining a healthy heart.
Thousands of people turned out on a sunny Sunday morning for the fun run, which was postponed from February due to a weather warning.
Participants were asked to dress in red in order to take part in the fun run, with thousands of pounds being raised on the day for the charity.
