The father of a beautician who was shot dead in a pub on Christmas Eve carried her coffin into church for her funeral today.
Mourners were at St Nicholas Church in Wallasey for the 12.30pm service to remember 26-year-old Elle Edwards.
It was led by Reverend Jeff Staples, who has been in regular contact with Ms Edward's grieving family.
Ms Edwards' father Tim was embraced before he joined pall-bearers to take his daughter into the church.
The order of service included the hymn Be Still for the Presence of the Lord and it said a eulogy, Remembering Elle, would be given.

Mourners were asked for donations to the Elle Edwards Foundation in her memory.
He said before the service: 'People will be sad coming to the service, but part of the aim is to say, "well, actually Elle's life wasn't a sad life, it was a good life, it was a happy life, it was a full life".'

She is not believed to have been the intended target of the attack, in which four men were wounded.
Last week, Mr Edwards told Sky News: 'She was beautiful looking and she was a great hugger. She was just a fantastic human being with a heart of gold.'
He hopes a foundation in his daughter's name will combat gun violence in the region.
A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murdering Ms Edwards with a submachine gun.

Connor Chapman appeared at Liverpool Crown Court via videolink from HMP Manchester last Monday. His trial is due to start on June 7, with the case lasting three to four weeks.
He is charged with nine offences in total, including the attempted murder of Jake Duffy and Kieran Salkeld and three counts of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm of Harry Loughran, Nicholas Speed and Liam Carr.
The suspect is also charged with possessing a Scorpion submachine gun and ammunition with intent to endanger life and handling stolen goods, a Mercedes A class vehicle, between December 22 and Boxing Day.
