Christopher Hastings, 33, arrested Wednesday morning
VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A Volusia County man is accused of shooting another man in the head, according to police.
Christopher Hastings, 33, faces charges after investigators said he shot a 44-year-old man in the head Wednesday morning following an argument.

The Holly Hill Police Department said the shooting happened around 2:42 a.m. in the street outside a home in the 100 block of Flomich Avenue in Holly Hill.
After being shot in the head, the victim walked to a friend’s home and notified authorities, police said in a news release.
Police said Hastings was caught inside a car in the 300 block of Ridgewood Avenue in Daytona Beach, roughly eight minutes after the 911 call was placed. The Daytona Beach Police Department and the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office both assisted in the search for Hastings, investigators said.
Police said the firearm believed to have been used in the incident was recovered by law enforcement.
The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Hastings faces an attempted second-degree murder charge and was taken to the Volusia County jail.
