Harry Styles' stage crew have been held up by gangsters in Brazil ahead of a concert that was due to take place tomorrow night, police have said.
The crew were driving a van carrying equipment south along the B-116 highway from Sao Paulo to the city of Curitiba on Friday when the hijacking happened, according to the Military Police.
Cops say three men - two of them armed - overtook the van, forced it to stop, and then stole it along with the equipment inside, Brazilian news channel G1 reports.
Crew members are thought to have been unharmed in the incident, and contacted police shortly afterwards.
The van was carrying instruments used by the band that is accompanying Styles on his 'Love On Tour' tour, according to site Tribuna.
Cops say the driver was 'subdued' by the three robbers, who have not yet been tracked down. The van has also not been recovered.
MailOnline has contacted representative of Harry Styles for comment.
Love On Tour was initially scheduled to take place in 2020 - with shows in Brazil in October that year - but the Covid pandemic forced it to be suspended.
It finally got underway in September last year with a gig in Las Vegas and will finish in July next year in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
Between those two dates, the British singer/songwriter is due to play 84 shows in 22 countries, including four dates in Brazil.
The first took place in Sao Paulo on December 6 followed by Rio on December 8.
Curitiba was due to take place on December 10, with the Brazil leg concluding with two shows in Sao Paulo on the 13th and 14th.
