BOISE (Idaho Statesman) — A guest at Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area fell over 20 feet Friday evening while riding the Coach chairlift, according to spokesperson Susan Saad.
The individual was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Saad said in an email to the Statesman.
Video surveillance showed that the person “successfully loaded” the lift without issues, Saad said.
“The guest reported that the restraint bar had not been lowered during the chairlift ride,” Saad wrote.
