Greggs new shop in Belfast now open creating 15 jobs

Greggs has opened a new shop in Belfast on Monday. The food-to-go retailer has opened on York Street, creating 15 new jobs.

This follows the opening of the drive thru in nearby Craigavon earlier this month. The York Street shop will offer the full Greggs menu, including coffee and iced drinks, breakfast rolls, hot bakes, salads, sandwiches and pizzas.

The shop has indoor seating and will also offer hot, food-to-go products such as its Southern Fried Chicken Goujons and Wedges.

A statement said: "Customers will be able to take advantage of Greggs’ deals throughout the day, including its breakfast combinations, offering a breakfast roll or baguette alongside a Fairtrade orange juice or hot drink - served until 11am every day. Those looking for a bite to eat in the evening can enjoy the Greggs Made To Order range including the Chicken Burgers and Wraps alongside a variety of pizza slices. After 4pm, customers can pick up any pizza slice with any drink from just £3.45 instead of the usual £4.55.

"Customers looking to skip the queues will be able to order through Click + Collect via the Greggs App. The Greggs App is free to download and gives access to a variety of tasty rewards. For every 9 purchases in different categories – from hot drinks, to sandwiches, to bakes to sweet treats – app users can get one completely free. New users of the Greggs App also receive a free hot drink of their choice upon registration, as well as a free sweet treat to celebrate their birthday each year."
