A former East Belfast primary school teacher is to stand trial for multiple child sex offences.
William Maher, of Kings Brae, Belfast, appeared at Laganside Court on Tuesday, March 4, where he pleaded not guilty to nine child sex offence charges.
He has been charged with seven counts of sexual communication with a child against two children on dates between September 1, 2021, and May 24, 2022.
He also faces two counts of inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity against one child on dates between September 1, 2021, and May 24, 2022.
Maher was granted continuing bail until his appearance at Laganside Crown Court on March 18.
