A new bunch of singletons are looking for love on the newest episode of First Dates Ireland. The TV dating show aimed at helping hopeless romantics find the one is set to feature a Belfast contestant on Thursday night's episode on RTÉ2 at 9:30pm.
Paired up with a stranger, daters will share a meal to figure out if they are a compatible match and whether they would like to head out on more dates in the future.
On hand, as always, with kind words of encouragement, shoulders to cry on and insightful observations on love and life are table angels Alice and Pete, Neil, the world’s friendliest barman and Maître D’ Mateo Saina.

Singletons from right across the country, including counties Antrim, Monaghan, Kilkenny, Wexford, Kerry, Cork, Dublin and Waterford will be making their way into the First Dates restaurant tonight all hoping to find their forever love.
Liam is looking for the one - but will he find it in Conor from Monaghan?
A description for the episode reads: "Liam from Belfast flashes his fabulous Turkey teeth at hairdresser Conor from Monaghan who’s tired of being mistaken for a ‘ladies man’ when all he wants is an older man."
We will also see sparks fly as ‘spicy white girl’ Becky from Kilkenny finds the shy guy of her dreams in competitive gamer Aaron from Wexford and gardener Ciarán from Kerry date former Rose of Tralee contestant Hannah from Cork.
