Emmerdale fans are buzzing with speculation about a surprise new love story for Claudette Anderson and an unlikely village resident.
Claudette, portrayed by Flo Wilson, burst onto the scene in 2023 as Charles' mother (played by Kevin Mathurin), who himself made his soap debut in 2020.
Upon her arrival in Emmerdale, Flo expressed her excitement: "I feel blessed that I was chosen to play Claudette and I hope to make the Emmerdale family proud of the work that I will do."
It didn't take long for Claudette to stir things up in the village. Known for her nosy nature and meddling in others' affairs, she quickly won over the audience.

Eager fans took to the comments, proposing a potential pairing between Claudette and Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards), Paddy Kirk's dad (Dominic Brunt).
One fan suggested, "Claudette and Bear," while another concurred: "Annie Ditzy, both are fusspots in their own way, mind... could work?".
Someone else chimed in and added, "I could see this happening as well tbh."
Bear, who first graced our screens in 2019 as Paddy Kirk's long-lost father, has won over viewers nationwide with his lovable personality and heart of gold.
