A reality TV star has opened about the "worse interview of her life" with Belfast man Eamonn Holmes.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life's Whitney Thore spoke to the Daily Star as she promoted the new series of her TLC show. When asked what UK TV shows she would like to do in the future, she answered: "I haven't done any UK TV shows in about 10 years, but I would gladly go on any and all of them again - except for [any with] Eamonn Holmes.

"He conducted the absolute worst interview of my entire career, but other than that my experience in the UK has always been so extremely lovely and I love my time here so much."

However, not all of Whitney's celebrity experiences have been negative as she revealed some stars have been quick to jump into her DMs.

Whitney shared: "Just the other night I got the nicest message from an insanely famous UK singer - I won't disclose who just for privacy reasons, but it absolutely made my day."

When quizzed on if she's had any wild celebrity encounters, she cheekily laughed: "Yes of course! But I don't like to gossip." However, she did admit that since being famous, it hasn't been all roses when it comes to her love life.

Whitney explained: "It's definitely hindered it. Most people do not want the negative attention that being in the public eye brings. "I've had countless dates decide not to even meet me after all when they realise what I do for a living and the ones who are excited about it are often trying to take advantage of me or are in it for the wrong reasons."

Whitney's TLC series follows her, and her family, as she navigates the ups and downs of her life, including the challenges of dealing with body image, weight, and the stereotypes that come with them. She first gained national attention with her viral 2015 video A Fat Girl Dancing and since then, she has shared her journey with viewers over 11 seasons.

In the upcoming series, Whitney watches as her friends get married and have babies. Determined not to be left behind, Whitney attempts to quell this mid-life crisis with the help of non-traditional alternatives.
