Struggling to nod off at night? A simple yet slightly unconventional tip may help you slip into dreamland more easily. This suggestion totally took Dr Ahmed, a British GP, by surprise, leaving him completely "mind blown."
He described it as "absolutely crazy" that individuals facing sleep issues rarely discuss a potentially key issue with their GP – one that's often overlooked in favour of cutting down on screen time, adjusting diets, or establishing bedtime rituals. When those options don't quite cut it, an epiphany hit Dr Ahmed about a seemingly obvious solution.
Dr Ahmed admitted: "One thing we never discuss, and I'm guilty of this, is about sleep posture and whether you're comfortable at night when you sleep."

Speaking with sleep expert James Leinhardt from Levitex, Dr Ahmed delved into the importance of being cosy all night to ease into slumber, as highlighted in a report by the Mirror. He shared a handy trick that could drastically change many people's sleep experiences, reports the Irish Mirror.
Dr Ahmed promises it's straightforward: "It's very easy, you can try it tonight."
He pointed out that "the key" to undisturbed sleep involves placing a pillow between your knees to line up everything from your pelvis to your ankles. This relieves stress on parts of the body that might otherwise cause discomfort, disrupting rest.
This method, dubbed The Dreamer, has been praised by experts as the "optimum position" to guarantee sound sleep. Getting used to this sleep posture could just be what you need to fend off persistent knee or back pain.
