A man has pleaded guilty to multiple charges of domestic abuse and violence as he is branded "a danger to all women" by his victim.

Mark Sell of Grove Street, Lisburn, but originally from the Twinbrook area of West Belfast, pleaded guilty to six charges at Craigavon Crown Court on Friday, March 14, following a campaign of abuse and violence against a former partner.

He admitted to improper use of a computer device, threats to kill, criminal damage, assault causing actual bodily harm and domestic abuse offences against the woman on dates between August 2022 and January 2024.

He originally faced other charges which included non-fatal strangulation, dangerous driving and threatening behaviour, however these were left on the books following his guilty plea in court.

Sell is now due to be sentenced on June 12, with a presentence report being prepared and his representatives asking for a psychological evaluation.

Following the hearing, Sell's victim said that she was relieved that she would not have to go through a difficult trial, but was disappointed that he was able to "pick and choose" what he pled guilty to.

Speaking to Belfast Live she said: "This man is a danger to every woman and I am just glad that he is going to be convicted for what he has done. Everyone needs to be aware of what this man is like and the risk that he poses to women.

"I will be traumatised until my last breath due to what he did to me and I don't think the fear will ever leave me.

"I just hope that he gets the sentence he deserves and that something will be done to ensure that he is not able to hurt any other women in the future."
