Police cautioned people to stay away from area of Johnson to Garfield Streets
HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Crowds were seen on a live beach camera scrambling along the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk on Monday evening, fleeing from an apparent shooting.
The footage shows that around 6:41 p.m., the crowds began to scramble away near Margaritaville along the Broadwalk.
Later, Hollywood police asked residents to avoid the area of Johnson to Garfield Streets “due to an ongoing shooting investigation.”

In a release, the department announced that a media staging area would be held at 9 p.m. to provide updates into what happened.
