Chick-fil-A has opened its doors at its first location in Northern Ireland.
Famous for the Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, the US fast-food giant is known for its "friendly service, a warm welcome and quality food".
Located at Applegreen's Lisburn South motorway service area on the M1, crowds gathered to be the first to taste the famous chicken on Thursday.

Chick-fil-A has said that customers are now welcome to the restaurant to explore popular menu items including chicken sandwiches, signature Lemonade and nuggets that are hand-breaded from 10am-10pm Monday to Saturday.
The chain has entered into a new licensing partnership with Applegreen Northern Ireland, with a second location due to open at Applegreen Templepatrick on the M2 in March.
With more than 3,000 restaurants across the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada, the new restaurant in Lisburn is the first location outside of North America.
The brand plans to open five restaurants across NI, Leeds, Liverpool, and London over the next two years as part of its UK-wide investment plans.
