Next week's episodes of Coronation Street promise more drama as Todd Grimshaw uncovers another startling secret about Theo Silverton.
Viewers will remember that Theo, portrayed by James Cartwright, joined the ITV soap last month and quickly developed a connection with Todd Grimshaw.
However, after insisting he isn't gay and asking Todd to leave him alone, Todd was left puzzled when he discovered that the man he had been communicating with on a dating app was none other than Theo.
In scenes aired last week, Theo confessed his attraction to Todd, leading to a passionate kiss and an intimate afternoon together.
Despite their romantic afternoon, Theo, who admitted his life is complicated, later left Todd devastated by insisting that their encounter was a one-time thing, reports Leicestershire Live.
In Monday's episode, Todd was taken aback when Theo arrived at Shuttleworths to plan a funeral for his mother-in-law with his wife Danielle.
Theo tried to clarify his family situation, revealing that he had been married for 19 years but had questioned his sexuality since his teenage years.
The scaffolder confessed he had 'never had the guts' and 'never done this before', pleading with Todd not to reveal anything to his wife.
In scenes set to air next week, Todd makes yet another shocking discovery about Theo. After Sarah Platt lends him her flat keys, Todd is stunned when Theo and Danielle arrive at the undertakers with their teenage son and daughter.
Later on, Sarah and her new flame Kit Green find themselves having to vacate the flat when Todd barges in, with Theo hot on his heels trying to explain his inconsistent behaviour.
As the week progresses, after a meeting at the flat, Todd conveys to Theo that while he can't commit, he does have strong feelings for him.
Before long, Sarah returns to the flat and when Theo's phone lights up with a text, Todd hands the phone to Sarah, pleading with her to locate Theo at Speed Daal.
Subsequently, Sarah is set to go out with Kit, but at the bistro, Danielle spots Todd and Sarah sharing a drink and approaches them. Realising she believes they're together, Todd invites her to join, forcing Sarah to play along.
The situation becomes even more uncomfortable when Theo joins Danielle at the bistro, and Danielle insists they join Todd and Sarah at their table.
In an attempt to make Theo envious, Todd plants a kiss on Sarah's lips, but Kit observes from the bar leaving Sarah embarrassed. Later, Sarah attempts to clarify things to Kit, but he is left puzzled.
