Coronation Street spoilers see new Rovers Return Inn heartbreak for Jenny Connor next week on the cobbles.

Soap watchers will recall that in 2023 Jenny and stepdaughter Daisy Midgeley decided to put an offer in on the boozer, which had been closed for weeks, using stolen money.

Fans will remember that Daisy successfully accessed Jenny's late ex-boyfriend Stephen Reid's accounts, where he had stole from Carla Connor's factory accounts. Jenny agreed to Daisy's plan but insisted they would eventually pay back an unaware Carla.

As part of the plan, Daisy said although publicly the pub would be Jenny's, privately they would be equals as she wanted her name on the lease as a co-owner. The duo's bid was accepted and they reopened the iconic boozer.

Like any secret on the cobbles, Carla soon found out and they're now in debt to Carla as they attempt to slowly pay her back.

In spoilers for next week, Carla breaks the news to Jenny that she needs to pay Lisa Swain back and she's decided to sell the pub. Jenny is left shocked and heartbroken by the news.

However, later, Jenny, who is cruelly being pranked by Daisy and her mother Christina Boyd without knowing, is delighted to receive a parcel from online admirer 'Dominic' as she receives a bottle of Champagne from his very own vineyard.

Of course Dominic is not real and there is no vineyard with Christina and Daisy having made the suitor up to fool Jenny. Christina can't help but watch Jenny open the parcel with a sly grin on her face.

Later, Jenny begs Carla to give her first refusal on buying the pub to which Daisy watches, intrigued. What has Jenny got planned and how will the scheming duo respond?

Christina's comeback coincides with the departure of Daisy actress Charlotte Jordan from the ITV soap after a five-year stint.

Earlier this year, 29-year-old Charlotte spoke about her decision to leave the cobbles: "My time at Coronation Street is something I'll always cherish."

She went on to say: "After a brilliant four years for Daisy, it's time for me to start a new chapter and explore other opportunities."

Charlotte expressed gratitude towards her experience, stating: "It's been a privilege to be part of a wonderful institution with even more wonderful colleagues who have taught me so much."

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and ITV X.
