Former Coronation Street star Sacha Parkinson was the bearer of joyous news on Tuesday, 15 April, as she took to Instagram to celebrate one week since the arrival of her adorable daughter.
The actress, 33, famous for her role as Sian Powers in Coronation Street from 2009 till 2011, shared a touching black-and-white photo of her baby with the caption: "One whole week of Sadie".
Her announcement was swiftly met with a surge of congratulatory messages from former Corrie co-stars, adoring fans and her impressive Instagram following of almost 73,000.
The reveal of baby Sadie's birth follows Sacha's heartwarming December post, where she excitedly announced her pregnancy.
Donning festive red silk pyjamas, she was all smiles amongst Polaroid photographs, writing: "Merry Christmas Eve, Huns .. I have a feeling next year's is going to be a wild one" accompanied by excited emojis.
It's been an exciting few months for Sacha as back in 2023 the actress revealed she was engaged to partner Jon after he proposed while on holiday, reports Leicestershire Live.
Posting pictures of their engagement, she penned: "'I knew you were likely to take a wife!' SCREAMING" with a heart, engagement ring and happy emoji.
Coronation Street fans first witnessed Sacha's debut in 2009 as Sian Powers, striking up a friendship with Sophie Webster, played by Brooke Vincent.
They quickly became Weatherfield's inaugural lesbian couple, although their relationship stopped short of marriage.
Off-screen, the bond between Sacha and Brooke remains strong, with Brooke sharing Sacha's baby announcement on Instagram and expressing her joy with the words: "Baby Girl had a baby girl. Sadie, you are so loved."

After her time on Coronation Street, Sacha took on roles in various TV series and films. She was seen in The Mill from 2013 to 2014 playing Miriam, and in My Mad Fat Diary in 2014 as Stacey Stringfellow.
In 2015, Sacha became part of the Mr Selfridge cast, portraying Connie Hawkins until 2016. Following that, she featured in Safe House, Cold Feet, The Pebble and the Boy, and Platform 7.
