Coronation Street's Audrey 'needs to watch out' as fans 'work out' Lou's sick plan for her

2 days ago 139

Coronation Street viewers believe they've sussed out the devious scheme Lou Michaelis has in store for Audrey Roberts.

Character Lou Michaelis, played by Farrel Hegarty, made quite the entrance earlier this year alongside husband Mick (portrayed by Joe Layton), as the two shook up Mawdsley Street and quickly became the notorious new neighbours, causing friction amongst the locals.

They did manage to forge a bond with Gemma (acted by Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Chesney (Sam Aston) but have since found themselves being avoided by the duo.

The latest episode, airing on Wednesday (April 16), saw an intriguing development when Lou discovered that Audrey's (Sue Nicholls) salon was seeking a hair stylist - a jobless Lou was swift to volunteer.

The pair have caused plenty of drama

Lou chatted with Audrey, feigning expertise as a professional hairdresser, a story that Gemma supported. The gullible Audrey offered the Weatherfield newcomer an opportunity to showcase her purported talents, leaving Lou overjoyed.

Nonetheless, fans are now suspecting a dramatic turn of events for Audrey as they've pieced together Lou's actual intent, reports Leicestershire Live.

In a Coronation Street fan group on Facebook, suspicions are being voiced with comments such as: "I have a bad feeling Lou is going to try and rob Audrey and her salon."

Others concurred, saying: "I thought that too, poor Audrey!" and "She's up to something for sure." Further stoking the drama, reports have it that both Lou and Mick are slated to depart the cobbles in the coming summer, not long after their arrival on the show.

Fans have shared their fears for Audrey

"Mick and Lou were brought into the show to cause chaos on the cobbles in the build up to a major storyline in the summer and they are already making their presence felt," a Corrie spokesperson previously said.

"Joe and Farrel were contracted for a specific length of time, some characters come in for a long time and some like Mick and Lou are brought to pass through and leave a trail of destruction behind them.

"Both actors are still filming with the show and will be on screen until the summer."

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX
