IDAHO FALLS — Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 7, a portion of U.S. Highway 20 will be under construction for about two weeks.

The project will extend about 13 miles west of Idaho Falls. It will start at milepost 301 near Cinder Butte Road (65th West) and end at milepost 288 headed towards Arco.

Crews are repairing the road and filling in ruts with a “cold mill and inlay process.”

Road work will take place between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Drivers should anticipate reduced speeds and traffic control with a pilot car to guide traffic through the workzone. Drivers are encouraged to watch for flaggers in the workzone. As construction continues, drivers should plan their commute accordingly.
