Come Dine With Me returns to Belfast with a whole new set of contestants ready to make it or break it in the kitchen.

The iconic Channel 4 cooking show sees a group of strangers compete for the title of 'ultimate dinner party host' and the chance to win £1000.

The popular programme is set to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a fresh series of dinner parties across the UK, anticipated to be as "warm and unpredictable as we have ever seen".

Back on our TVs on Monday, March 3, this week will see five contestants from Northern Ireland battle it out to take home the prize.

At 5.30pm from March 3 to March, we will meet Donna, Andrea, Aodhan, Kirsty and James as they cook up a storm in order to impress the other four faces at the table.

According to Channel 4, in episode one its Donna's turn to go first and can she "sniff out the grand with a starter so whiffy it needs making in the shed".

Next we meet Andrea who is hosting a Belfast-themed evening which celebrates our local lingo and "simple-but-effective" fare.

Episode three puts Aodhan to the test as he tries to fill his menu with thrill, showing off his 'alter ego' and hosting guests in his horror-themed home.

Kirsty is up next as she takes her guests tastebuds on a journey to Ibiza - but will she get rave reviews after a main course mare?

Finally, pilot James welcomes his guests onboard the final night of dinner parties with a Mexican night he hopes can make him soar to the top of the leader board.
