Dylan Boyle insists Coleraine are determined not to let their season "peter out" as they aim for a European play-off spot.
It has been a stop-start season for the Bannsiders as they have struggled for consistency in the league.
Defeat to Glentoran last Friday night put another dent in their top six hopes but Boyle said they are determined to keep fighting starting with their trip to runaway league leaders Linfield this afternoon as they look to answer some tough questions.
"These are the games that you look forward to," said the midfielder. "Going away to Windsor is always a big game and there's no better challenge for us to hopefully bounce back after Friday night.
"The lads have trained hard this week, stuck at it and came in this week and asked 'what do we want from this season?'.
"Do we want to let it peter out and come away with nothing or can we push on in these last six games before the split? We want to try and push for those European play-off places.
"The defeat to Glentoran was really disappointing for everyone at the club. From a players perspective, I think we didn't rise to the occasion.
"To be honest with you, from the first 10 or 15 minutes we didn't get a foothold in the game and that probably carried on for the rest of the first-half.
"We changed our shape at half-time and we did pave our way into the game but I think the damage was done in the first-half. I know that we did pull a goal back at the end but I think it was too little too late."
Coleraine had a busy January with five new signings coming into the club and Boyle feels the addition of Ronan Doherty can help his own game.
"I think the signings who have come in are brilliant," he said. "Ronan's great to play with in there, he's played at a high level for the majority of his career, so if I can take bits from him it's massive for me.
"I'll try and look at how he trains, how he works and take bits and pieces from that. I've played quite a lot of games this season which is good.
"I've got the trust of the manager so if I can try and keep that for the rest of the season and then see how many games I can get under my belt."
