A freight train has derailed in busy industrial area of Sydney.
It is understood 10 carriages came off the tracks in Banksmeadow, in the city's east, on Friday morning.
Three of those carriages have flipped off their carts, onto their sides.
Firefighters are inspecting the contents of those carriages to determine if any hazardous materials need to be cleared from the scene.
NSW Transport confirmed the line affected is only used for freight trains, with no train or road delays expected from the incident.
At this stage, no injuries have been reported.
