AJ Odudu has excitedly shared insights into the much-anticipated return of Celebrity Big Brother for its 2025 series, which is set to air on Monday, April 7.
As fans eagerly anticipate the ITV reality show's comeback, with a fresh group of celebrities poised to enter the nation's most renowned residence, it's been revealed that this year the house will be situated in a completely new setting and is expected to be smaller than previous iterations.
While talking to journalists, AJ spilled the details: "There's always twists and turns with Big Brother. The house is in brand new location and it's got a brand new layout. I know the house has been made slightly smaller which might heighten drama."
Fantasising about her ideal Big Brother room addition, the ITV presenter expressed her wishes: "I would want a karaoke room with feather boas and a photo booth in the corner or maybe a stationary cupboard."
Elaborating on her choice, AJ shared a personal anecdote: "Everyone who has those office Christmas parties for example, they are always snogging in there.
"I remember one of my ex-boyfriends, we got together by snogging in the stationary cupboard. People photocopying their bums and stuff, that's the vibe and the level I want.", reports OK!.
AJ, alongside presenting partner Will Best, is still in the dark regarding the final celebrity line-up, although it hasn't stopped them from recommending names to the show's producers – admittedly, without much success.
She detailed her experience: "Every single series I've got a wish list. I'm literally texting the execs, texting the team and I'm like here's my dream list but your girl gets ignored. I get blanked. and I'm like 'excuse me, get them in'.
"I've always got a dream list up my sleeve but the team know what they're doing and they do not welcome my opinions."
Will chimed in: "We know nothing but you always know every series Big Brother is going to raise the stakes and raise the game and I think Big Brother showed that in the last civilian series. It was definitely a build on the first series on ITV.
"I think Big Brother was more mischievous and played with them more. I wouldn't go as far as saying evil but certainly up to some tricks and I reckon we're going to see the same thing for this celebrity series compared to the last one.
"Even last series we had Sharon [Osbourne] as a house guest. That was a never seen before thing so I would be very surprised if there's not something equally as new and different."
Celebrity Big Brother returns on Monday, April 7 at 9pm on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player
