Car crashes into Belfast home as female driver flees from scene

A man's home in Belfast has been rendered unsafe after a car crashed into the house on Saturday.

Police are investigating after a car crashed into the property in Rose Street in West Belfast last night, February 15. Officers say the car, a black Renault Megane, which is believed to have been driven by a woman, collided with the front of the property at around 5.20pm.

"The driver and a man who was in the passenger seat both fled from the scene," a PSNI spokesperson said.

"The male occupant of the house was not injured however his home has been rendered unsafe by the collision.

"Anyone who can assist police enquiries, or who may have captured footage, is asked to call 101 quoting reference 1210 15/02/25."
