A teenager has been the victim of an assault in Belfast city centre on Sunday afternoon.
It is reported that the 14-year-old was targeted during the incident which is believed to be "hate-related" in the Winetavern Street area of the city on January 26.
Police are currently appealing for anyone with information on the assault to get in contact.
A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland said: "Police in South Belfast are appealing for witnesses to a hate related assault on 14 year boy.
"This incident occurred at approximately 2pm on 26th January, 2025 in the vicinity of Smithfield Car Park.
"If you have information regarding this assault, please contact police on 101 quoting serial number 839 26/1/25."
