Boots has issued an urgent recall notice on paracetamol tablets due to a “packaging error”.

It comes after 500mg packs of the pain relief from the high street pharmacy chain were incorrectly labelled as Boots Aspirin 300mg dispersible tablets in the foiled blister insert.

The 16-tablet packs with an expiry date of December 2029 are among the products affected, with a batch number of 241005 which can be found on the bottom of the box.
