Belfast Live readers pick the worst junction or roundabout in the city

1 year ago 381

We all know one or two roundabouts or junctions in Belfast that can at times be frustrating. Whether it's the long queues and delays at busy periods, unclear road markings that can lead to some close-calls, or just an overall complicated road layout, many of us will have a spot that comes to mind.

Traffic has been high on the news agenda in recent months, as city centre congestion resulting from road closures for the new Grand Central Station is a key issue for many drivers.

In order to find out which junction or roundabout most of us hate or even try to avoid while out and about, we asked our followers on Facebook to name the spots they dreaded. After around 200 resposnes, we put the most mentioned locations into a poll and asked for our readers to vote.

Another name mentioned frequently came in second place, with 318 voters saying Sandyknowes roundabout in Glengormely is their most hated junction or roundabout.
